Project Detail
Twaweza Communications is working with the City through a project funded by Forum CIV to facilitate policy dialogue workshops and build capacity across different sectors. The partnership uses communications, media and culture to support behaviour change and implementation of city development plans.
The initiative has included training Nakuru-based journalists on reporting climate change and associated hazards. Cultural practitioners and artists have also been trained on the Nakuru City Urban Resilience Strategy, helping them incorporate resilience themes into creative and cultural initiatives.
