The Kenya National Commission for UNESCO is supporting the City in the development of the Nakuru Creative City Policy to help meet UNESCO requirements. The collaboration brings together stakeholders in culture, arts and creative industries to strengthen the policy framework for Nakuru’s creative development.
The partnership will also support stakeholder dialogues during Creative Month and the launch of the policy. Through this collaboration, the City is strengthening the role of culture and creativity in urban development and creating an enabling environment for creative practitioners and cultural initiatives.
