Project Detail
The City Board is working with Wow Moms Kenya, a social enterprise advocating for child-friendly cities, to improve access to childcare services for people working and living within the city. The partnership focuses on creating socially inclusive urban environments where children and families can access essential services and opportunities.
Through the collaboration, the City is working towards establishing childcare stations within markets. The initiative is currently at the data collection stage, with the first facility planned for installation in 2026, providing an important foundation for making city markets more inclusive and supportive of working families.
