Midrift Hurinet, a Nakuru-based organization working in peace, good governance and human rights, collaborated with the Nakuru City Board through support from GIZ to facilitate structured dialogues involving youth, police and the County Government. The initiative focused on reducing crime, strengthening trust and improving community-police relations.
In partnership with DIGNITY, the collaboration also introduced a Violence Observatory tool and community leadership training. These interventions helped local stakeholders improve their ability to monitor, understand and respond to the drivers of urban violence and strengthen community participation in public safety.
