Water and Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP) has supported efforts to improve water, sanitation and hygiene services for urban communities. Its work focuses on strengthening local service providers, promoting inclusion and supporting policy dialogue around the needs of underserved urban populations.
WSUP developed the Nakuru Countywide Sanitation Strategic Plan, which was adopted in 2019. In Nakuru City, the organization also supported NAWASSCO through capacity building to address sanitation challenges and strengthen the delivery of sanitation services.
