Urban Planner
Geoffrey Kibet Kemei is an Urban Planner with over eleven years of professional experience in public-sector planning, urban governance, spatial planning, development control, environmental management, and institutional strengthening. In his role in Nakuru City, he supports urban planning, development management, infrastructure planning, GIS-based decision-making, stakeholder coordination, and the implementation of urban development programmes. He has contributed to major public-sector and development-partner initiatives, including the Turkana County Spatial Plan, Nakuru City Vision 2050, and World Bank-supported urban resilience and urban development programmes. He is a Corporate Member of the Kenya Institute of Planners (KIP), Urban and Regional Planning Chapter (No. 0515C), and a Graduate Member of the Architectural Association of Kenya, Town Planners Chapter (No. 5285).
