Project Detail
The Nakuru City Non-Motorized Transport (NMT) project along Kenyatta Avenue, completed in the 2020/2021 financial year, transformed the outlook and character of the city by creating a more pedestrian-friendlier and vibrant urban environment.
The project improved walking and cycling infrastructure, enhanced accessibility and road safety, and provided a more attractive public space for residents and visitors. It has contributed to better urban mobility, supported local businesses and enhanced Nakuru’s image as a modern, inclusive and people-centered city.
